they have never sounded better. that last minute or so is insanely fleetwood mac-inspired, circa tango in the night ‘87. this band continues to give incredible music. can’t wait for their tour.

I’m a man stuck in the past of loving 60s/70s & 80s soul music but this is the only band around today I would pay to see. They are phenomenal. Amazing live and just so fresh and upbeat. Joyous
This is hands down my favourite band. I’ve been listening to them since the very beginning and it’s so good to see them grow so much, and still keep their roots.
Everyone has polarizing opinions about the 1975 but the reason they continue to be my favorite band is because they operate on a higher frequency than a lot of other artists. Each and every time they never fell to bring a studio song to life in the live version. The vibrations they emit paired with sweet harmonies and melodies are simply top tier. I will forever love this band!!!!! 💗💗
As a middle aged bloke I’d completely dismissed The 1975 as being shite for years despite never really having heard them. I’m 44. I’m allowed to do shit like that while grumbling under my breath. Then I saw them play this on Later with Jools Holland. One deep dive into all their stuff later and I think Matty Healy is a fucking genius and they’re one of the best and most original bands on the planet. Lesson learned.

At 4:04-4:10 you can see exactly how in pocket Jamie Matty and George are. Fantastic stuff. You can always tell how much they enjoy playing a song live by how much in sync they get.

I can smell Jack's influence and its great. The sound engineering on these recordings from the lounge are unbelievable and in my opinion even better than the official recordings.
