| We see the threads where people say the manga was better, but what animes really improved upon the work of the manga? The show I had in mind from this season that achieved this was bocchi the rock. Going into the season I don't think there was that much excitement around the show, but now it has really taken off in a stacked season. Might be my favorite show of the season to be honest. So what anime's do you think that took the the source material to the next level? |

| The first one that comes to mind is demon slayer, which is pretty obvious Other than that, I feel like mob psycho and parasyte animes were better cause the art style in those mangas are a bit old looking |

| K-On! definitely exceeded the quality of its source material. The original 4-koma manga was mediocre at best, mainly focusing on comedy and CGDCT moments. The anime did it way better. |

| Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, 100 quadrillion percent. I read the manga and I was just kinda like Eh, I mean it's alright versus the anime which is my favorite of all time. If it weren't for KyoAni, I don't know if I would have cared much for Dragon Maid. |

| An obvious one is Attack on Titan. I know CSM gets a lot of shit for the animation, but it's honestly really nice compared to the manga art. The manga drawings are hard on the eyes. |

| I think the OG Trigun anime is better than the manga. The action scenes are better choreographed and the anime made some omissions that improved certain character arcs. (sometimes less really is more) Also School Live! The way the anime restructured certain events was so much better imo. The anime isn't a complete adaptation of the manga, but I think this is also for the better because the 2nd half of the manga is pretty underwhelming and the anime ending just feels more rewarding. |

| Yuru Campโณ, definitely! From what I've read of the manga, I do really like it, but the anime is just on another level of soothing and comfy. I think it translated the vibes of what the manga was going for into motion, really, really well. Something about the art style of the anime just feels super gentle in a way that the manga doesn't (even though I like it for different reasons). And the music is such a perfect compliment to every scene that it's present in, too. |

| Hunter x Hunter 2011 did it better. They took out a lot of unnecessary scenes and change the sequence of some events so that they more sense |

| Mahoutsukai no Yome was able to live up to the quality of the manga. Exceed might be a bit of a stretch. Vinland Saga - I'd say the focus of the anime shifted slightly, in terms of which character's journey we're following, but all in all this series also lived up to the quality of the manga. Exceeding the quality of the source material is damn hard. |
